  • Difficulty transitioning back into society after incarceration

Core Focus

The program is structured around helping participants “make a U-turn” in life by redirecting their path toward success. It emphasizes:

  • Re-entry Support – Guidance and mentorship for formerly incarcerated youth and adults.

  • Behavioral & Life Skills Training – Addressing anger management, decision-making, and value clarification.

  • Education Re-engagement – GED, high school re-entry, or vocational program connections.

  • Workforce Development – Job readiness training, internships, and career pathways.

  • Mentorship & Positive Role Models – Pairing participants with community leaders and mentors who understand their struggles.

Vision

Project U-Turn is not just about “avoiding the wrong path” but creating a new, sustainable direction. It provides the structure, accountability, and opportunities needed for youth and young adults to transform setbacks into stepping stones.
